Clinical Governance

Meet Our Founder & Clinical Director

Avo has over 15 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and supporting individuals with diverse needs across a variety of settings. As a multilingual professional who speaks four languages, Avo has provided education, guidance, and resources to newcomer families raising children with special needs, helping them navigate available services and access meaningful support.

Throughout his career, Avo has come to recognize that parents and family dynamics are among the most important elements of successful treatment. He believes that meaningful progress extends beyond individual therapy sessions and is built through understanding each family’s unique circumstances, strengths, values, and priorities. This realization inspired him to establish AVO Family Consultation Services, with a commitment to shaping treatment around the family rather than expecting families to adapt to a predetermined approach.

Having supported over 50 families across multiple counties, Avo continues to listen, learn, and collaborate with families to develop meaningful, individualized goals that fit their everyday lives. His approach combines evidence-based practices with compassion, practicality, and a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity, and family empowerment.

Outside of his professional work, Avo enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, horseback riding, and spending time with his dog. He also has a keen interest in animals and the positive connections they can bring to people’s lives.

Seen, Heard & Respected

Every child and family deserves to be seen, heard, and respected. We recognize that every family comes with its own unique culture, traditions, values, beliefs, and life experiences. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, we build meaningful partnerships by listening first and collaborating closely with caregivers.

We honor each family's background and incorporate their values into our treatment plans whenever possible, ensuring services are culturally responsive, respectful, and personally meaningful.

About AVO Family Consultation Services

Meaningful Growth, Stronger Families.

At AVO Family Consultation Services, we provide compassionate, evidence-based ABA therapy and family support services, focusing on meaningful growth and stronger family relationships through collaboration, education, and individualized care.

At AVO Family Consultation Services, we know that no two families or learning paths are identical. We believe that therapy should be meaningful, not mechanical. Children learn because they are engaged and ready to learn, not just compliant. We respect each child's unique learning style and focus on skills that unlock real everyday independence.

Our Clinical Approach

Every child's treatment plan is individualized and designed around their strengths, needs, and family goals.
